CJK’s 5am Dip @ Dawn: A Chilly Challenge for a Worthy Cause
On a brisk May morning at 5am, 81 brave CJK Dippers, along with guests, took the plunge into the Clontarf sea baths. This chilly adventure was in support of Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services in Harold’s Cross, Blackrock, and Wicklow, and in memory of our beloved colleague, Chris Nolan, who passed away suddenly on May 2, 2023.
Despite the early hour and the cold water, the turnout was incredible, showcasing the strength of our community spirit. Our team’s dedication and enthusiasm were palpable as they jumped into the icy sea, demonstrating their commitment to supporting our chosen charities and honouring Chris’s memory.
In recognition of this tremendous effort, CJK donated an impressive €5,250 to Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services. We are immensely proud of our team for coming together in such a meaningful way, supporting not only our charities but also each other.
