As part of the Elephant in the Room movement, CJK and Coolmine Therapeutic Community were honoured to welcome Brent Pope. We unveiled our two elephants, ‘Hope’ and ‘Ashleigh,’ at CJK headquarters and Ashleigh House—Coolmine’s Women and Children residential service supporting women affected by substance addiction.
The Elephant In The Room Movement is a powerful public declaration of our commitment to supporting our peoples well-being. The beautifully crafted elephants symbolise our dedication to raising awareness and fostering a supportive environment for mental health and well-being within our communities.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Brent Pope, who shared his inspiring journey and battle with mental health, urging us all to “be kind and look out for each other every day.” His words resonated deeply, reminding us of the importance of compassion and vigilance in our daily lives.
The unveiling of our Elephants in the Room ‘Hope’ and ‘Ashleigh’ is more than just an event; it is a testament to our ongoing efforts to create a workplace and community where mental health is openly discussed and supported.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful occasion. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to champion well-being and support within our community.
