We recently had the pleasure of welcoming students from Beneavin College to our head office training centre for an immersive hands-on experience as part of our recent school affiliation programme. These students were introduced to various small electrical tasks, gaining practical skills and insights into the daily life of an apprentice at CJK.
This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering young talent and providing valuable opportunities for the next generation of mechanical and electrical professionals. During their visit, the students engaged in practical exercises and interacted with our experienced team members, learning about the comprehensive journey of an apprenticeship at CJK. The firsthand experience gained in this school affiliation programme is designed to give them a clear understanding of the skills, dedication, and opportunities involved in pursuing a career in this field.
We are excited to announce that one of the six students will be offered a summer job as a Junior G.O., with the potential for a full apprenticeship depending on their Leaving Cert results this August. This opportunity is a testament to our belief in nurturing talent and providing a pathway for young individuals to develop and succeed within the industry.
We look forward to seeing these students grow and thrive, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way.
