Earlier this month, our Mechanical & Electrical team achieved another significant milestone with a successful lifting operation for one of our pharmaceutical clients. This complex lift, executed above a live operational building, required meticulous planning and close coordination between CJK’s site management team and the Construction Management Team (CMT).
The operation involved hoisting a new Air Handling Unit (AHU) in five sections, along with three condensing units, as well as associated ducting, pipework, and electrical containment onto the roof. As each section was lifted, our mechanical team assembled the AHU section by section, ensuring seamless integration into the existing system.
To minimise disruption for the client, the lift was strategically scheduled for a Saturday. Our team implemented rigorous safety measures and planning protocols, demonstrating their commitment to excellence and safety.
