CJK  a leading M&E contractor has an opportunity for Pipe Fitters to join our team. You will be responsible for fabricating, installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical piping systems. This includes understanding and interpreting drawings, P&ID’s, Isometrics and specifications to ensure accurate installation of pipes used in various industries such as commercial, pharmaceutical, data centres, and aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Assembly

• Assemble and Install pipes of various materials including carbon, stainless, hygienic tube, copper, plastic, and more.
• Ensure proper alignment and secure installation of pipes using supports, brackets, and hangers.

2. Drawing Interpretation

• Read and interpret schematics, plan drawings, P&ID’s and isometrics to determine pipe installation requirements.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading based on specifications.

3. Fabrication and Modification

• Cut, thread, and weld pipes to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, grinders and pipe threaders.
• Modify and fabricate pipes to fit specific needs and job requirements.

5. Safety and Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.

6. Collaboration and Communication

• Work collaboratively with other construction professionals, such as plumbers, welders, and HVAC technicians.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Pipe Fitter
• 2+ years’ experience with various pipe materials and fitting techniques
• Proficiency in using pipe fitting tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and isometrics.
• Knowledge of plumbing and piping systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
