Giving January!
Every January, we ask our staff what charities are closest to their hearts and pick 5 at random to receive €2,500.
Our Foreman, Mikey Keating, chose Men’s Aid Ireland and he’s pictured here presenting the cheque to the charity.
Our Mechanical Foreman, Declan Gahan, presented a cheque to his chosen charity this week.
He said, “I cannot thank CJK enough for this donation. I feel so happy and lucky to have been picked. The Cavan Centre has been in my life since I was 7 years old and still to this day, I volunteer.”
Our Site Administrator, Kelly Ryan presented a cheque to Phil O’Kelly from Spinal Injuries Ireland. Kelly’s brother Jack has been involved with the charity for 10 years and soon he will embark on their Tall Ships Adventure where he will sail the Caribbean sea. We wish him and the charity the best of luck with the trip!
Our Chargehand, Andy Hughes, also presented his cheque to the National Maternity Hospital Foundation. We’re happy to be able to support a charity that supports and cares for mothers and new-borns, which is a cause dear to Andy’s heart.
We are dedicated to improving the communities in which we live. It is a priority at CJK to support organizations that make such a difference in the lives of our staff and their families.
