At CJK, our unwavering commitment to the well-being of our employees extends far beyond physical safety. We are proud to announce our continued partnership with the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) as we participate in Construction Safety Month 2023.
Throughout the week we delivered baskets filled with fresh fruit and healthy snacks to all of our sites in order to promote health and wellness.
But it doesn’t stop at physical wellness. This week has allowed us to refocus on the mental health of our remarkable employees. We conducted stand downs across all our projects and hosted Toolbox Talks dedicated to discussing the importance of mental well-being. We believe that fostering a supportive and mentally healthy work environment is as crucial as ensuring physical safety.
As part of this week’s special wellness focus, we’ve shone a spotlight on the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity. This organisation plays a vital role in offering unwavering support to construction staff and their families, reminding us of the importance of a strong support system in the industry.
