As our third week of Construction Safety Month drew to a close, it did so with a powerful and inspiring discussion led by Tom Kearns from Coolmine Therapeutic Community.
Tom’s engaging talk at our DCU site delved deep into the realms of addiction, recovery, and the profound impact that Coolmine has had on our community. Beyond shedding light on these critical topics, the conversation also underscored the importance of team awareness and recognising the early signs of changes in behaviours associated with addiction.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Tom Kearns from Coolmine for bringing this vital discussion to our site operatives. Additionally, we want to offer a special shout-out and express our gratitude to Darren Murray from Walls Construction Limited and McKeon Group for facilitating this essential conversation at their DCU project, and to Designer Group for attending.
Addiction is not a choice, but recovery is. It’s a path that empowers individuals to reclaim their lives and clear the way for a brighter, more hopeful future.
