This was the topic of our site demonstration last Friday for Construction Safety Week 2022.
CJK Construction Manager, Darren Graham, carried out a detailed Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) demonstration to a jam-packed room for our pharmaceutical client. He covered the importance of isolations, and the potential dangers of hazardous energies on construction sites.
Armed with a CJK LOTO board with various locking mechanisms used to isolate different electrical components he demonstrated how to implement LOTO procedures.
CJK operations require robust LOTO procedures on all client’s sites to prevent risks of electrical incidents and injuries to all construction teams across our projects.
Darryl Gill, Project EHS Manager at PM Group, also talked about his experience of the dangers of hazardous energies in the workplace. These talks were hugely beneficial to our team and PM Group as we continue to make the workplace a safer place for everyone.
