In the heart of Construction Safety Month’s second week, CJK is dedicated to spotlighting the critical risks that come with operating mobile plant equipment, with a special focus on MEWPs. These machines are indispensable to our projects, making safe operation and maintenance crucial.
We organised a collaborative event, and we were thrilled to have Leo Lynch and Allen & Smyth join us for a live demonstration by HSS Hire on MEWP safety. Together, we emphasised the importance of daily MEWP and weekly GA2 inspections to keep everything running smoothly and securely.
We also discussed emergency procedures, ensuring that our teams are well-prepared to handle any unforeseen situations, including how to safely lower MEWPs in case of an emergency.
We owe a huge thank you to our main contractor, PM Group, and Astellas Pharma Europe, who supported us in coordinating this valuable demonstration.
