As the 2nd week of Construction Safety Month (CSM) moved to a close, we intensified our focus on addressing critical risks across all our projects.
Working at heights is a challenge that stands out as a high-risk activity in the construction industry, and unfortunately, it’s also the leading cause of fatalities and serious injuries.
On Friday, our teams came together as one to prioritise safe working at heights. We conducted toolbox talks and initiated stand downs on all our CJK projects. These discussions highlighted the paramount importance of ladder safety and inspection, harness and lanyard checks, and the meticulous selection of the right height-related equipment for specific tasks.
Thanks to Collen Construction for their invaluable collaboration on this essential topic and for facilitating this demonstration at their Grange Castle project.
Special thanks also go to our training partners at Nationwide Safety Training Network Limited for conducting this vital demonstration. It’s through partnerships like these that we’re able to further our commitment to the safety and well-being of our team members.
At CJK, every week is safety week, and every day is an opportunity to reinforce our dedication to a secure work environment. Safety isn’t just our priority; it’s our promise. Together, we’re building a safer and more secure future for all.
