At CJK, we’re proud to be a part of a project that’s truly a guiding light for the future. Our team has embarked on the electrical installation journey of the DCU Polaris Project, a monumental endeavour that will house Dublin City University’s Faculty of Science and Health alongside the Faculty of Engineering and Computing. It’s not just about bricks and mortar; Polaris is a beacon for DCU’s growing student population, providing an optimal environment to enhance the student experience.
Over the past few months, our dedicated team has been hard at work, focusing on the installation of the new MV/LV distribution system and the impressive containment pictured below. This vast project encompasses a staggering 1,000 kilometres of cable – enough to stretch all the way to London and back!
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our team members who have been working diligently to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of this project. As we inch closer to early 2024, Polaris is getting ready to open its doors and warmly welcome students into a bright and promising future. This project isn’t just about wires and switches; it’s about lighting the way for the students of tomorrow.
