PBZ – Dublin Airport

CJK completed the MV, LV, Controls and IT installation associated with this project. The works had to be delivered to a critical and short programme. All electrical services had to link into the existing live airport terminal systems, which was a hugely complex operation undertaken by CJK. The internal environment was finished to a very high standard and the electrical systems and finish co-ordinated with those in Terminal 2.

The Pre-Boarding Zone building was modular in design and was manufactured to create an open plan environment, using innovative modular techniques. Included in the build is five modular roof mounted plant room modules with independent stair access for DAA staff and maintenance contractors. It provides seven boarding gates to serve nine aircraft stands and can accommodate around 1,000 passengers at a time and up to 8,000 people a day at Europe’s fasting growing airport.
